  1. WOW! Great! I dream to make such picture of a net 🙂 But with my lenses for now not much possible 😦

  2. beautiful composition.

  3. Thank you.
@Tatiana – it was the Canon EF 24-70mm / f2,8 L USM Makro. It’s not a super-macro lens and many similar ones can do things close to what you see above. Did you ever try to rent a lens for a day or weekend? It’s not too expensive, you should definitely check it out!
@ Thank you elmediat! I’ve been hesitating quite a long time to post this, coz in my memory, mixed with the cold morning breeze, the fog hanging above the river behind me and my camera, the smell of moisture in the air – it all looked much more beautiful than in the profane image!

  4. I’ve never been able to capture a spide web shot that I like.. This is just so beautifully done..
    I am very jealous 🙂

  5. Thank you! And – no need to be jealous at all! …luck and location played my way…you live in NYC – for this shot we were fortunate enough to be in a very wide, very empty landscape, so the sun could hit the grass and spider web almost horizontally whilst the dew was still sitting there…we found this morning on the country side in rural northern Germany, close to Padernborn. This is the google maps link of the closest houses: http://bit.ly/map-of-spiderweb-shot.

  6. Yeah, I want to rent a lens definitely, just didn’t find good day or occasion for now 🙂 and 24-70 mm will be nive to have at all 🙂 but for now have to tighten the belt for many more other things, not for a new lens 😦
